Private
and Duet Sessions
We recommend private sessions for new
clients and those with specific pain or health issues. Private
sessions also complement group classes because they increase
your knowledge about your body's specific needs. You receive
individual attention on all studio equipment including the
Cadillac, Barrel and Spine Correctors. Duets allow you to
have more individual attention than a class, while spending
time with a friend or spouse. Duet and Private sessions
may be scheduled at any time with the instructor of your
choice.
Our robust 55 minute classes may incorporate exercises from
each of the apparatus listed below to give you a full body
workout that will leave you more focused with better body
awareness and improved posture.
Reformer
Exercises
A series of exercises using the
Reformer, equipment designed to support the back
while strengthening the body. You will learn the
work in a very safe yet progressive way as the reformer
helps support the extremities while building strength
in the core. The reformer is the place to start
if abdominal and back muscles are weak, and for
clients interested in weight bearing work.

Tower
Exercises
and Mat Exercises
A
series of exercises performed without equipment,
mat work uses your own body weight for resistance.
These exercises assist in improving overall strength,
flexibility, and are an integral part of developing
a long and lean pilates body. The added benefit
is that you can do these exercises at home!

Chair
Exercises
A series of exercises performed
using the Chair which strengthen the core muscles
of the body. Chair work is also excellent for working
on balance. These are challenging variations of
many traditional exercises ideal for the stronger
student.
